Do I need both ChatGPT and Claude?
Nope. Pick the platform you already use and start there. Both versions are included with your purchase, so you can always come back and set up the other one later. If you're not sure which to start with: ChatGPT is the fastest install (one click), and Claude gives you more specialized tools for each specific job.
What's the difference between MDM for ChatGPT and MDM for Claude?
The ChatGPT version is a single GPT that handles the full range of marketing tasks in one place. The Claude version is a suite of 20 specialized Skills, each built for a specific type of work. The Claude suite is more precise because each skill is purpose-built rather than general. Both run the same underlying MDM methodology. ChatGPT is easier to start. Claude is more powerful once you've set it up.
I uploaded a skill to Claude but it's not doing anything.
Two things to check. First, make sure the skill is enabled in your Claude settings at claude.ai → Customize → Skills and confirm the toggle is on. Second, try being more specific about what you're working on. Skills trigger on intent, so the more context you give Claude, the more precisely the right skill fires. Skills also work better inside a Claude Project where your Business Blueprint is active.
Can I install all the skills at once?
You install them one at a time, but it takes about 30 seconds per skill. Download the zip, go to claude.ai → Customize → Skills, click the + button, upload the zip. Repeat. Most people install the skills most relevant to what they're working on right now and add others as they need them.
Do I have to do the Full Setup to use the Claude skills?
No. You can install any skill and start using it immediately without the Full Setup. The Full Setup creates your Business Blueprint skill, which makes every interaction smarter because Claude already knows your offers, your buyer, and your voice before you say a word. The skills work without it, but the Full Setup is worth doing when you've got 15 minutes.
What's the MDM Blueprint Builder and do I need it?
The Blueprint Builder is a custom ChatGPT that interviews you about your business in 10 questions and produces a structured Blueprint document. You don't need it to use MDM in ChatGPT or Claude. But it's how you create your Business Blueprint skill, which trains Claude on your specific business. If you want Claude to feel like it knows you, the Blueprint Builder is where that starts.
I already have the original AI Business Blueprint. Is it compatible?
Yes. Open the MDM Blueprint Builder ChatGPT, paste your existing Blueprint document in, and ask it to reformat it for the new MDM structure. Takes about 30 seconds.
Can I share this portal with someone else?
No. Access requires the email and postal code used at purchase. Sharing your login or this URL with people who haven't purchased MDM violates your purchase terms. Each MDM license is for one person.
The Carousel Builder is asking for an API key. Where do I get one?
The Carousel Builder runs on Anthropic's API and shouldn't require you to provide your own key. If it's prompting you for one, something may be misconfigured. Email hello@melissarodgers.co and we'll sort it out.
I get generic responses even with the skills installed. What's wrong?
Generic responses almost always mean one of two things: Claude doesn't have enough specific context about what you're working on, or you're outside a Claude Project where your Business Blueprint is active. Give Claude more detail about your actual offer, your actual buyer, and what you're trying to accomplish. The more specific your input, the more specific the output. And if you haven't named the skill directly, try it: saying 'Use your Objection Neutralizer skill on this' gets a more precise result than a general request.
